"Commenting on the nanobugs Hepatitis A video: "What a great way to educate America and the world about such a complex subject" "
"My hospital-Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton, Georgia- has a Department Director's Meeting with the CEO and CFO on a monthly basis. It is scheduled on the Tuesday following the Hospital Board meeting on the fourth Monday of each month. We meet from 1:30pm-2:30pm to discuss business, financial, and community-related hospital concerns. Also, our CEO requests that two Department Heads present a hospital topic of our choice to the group and include a team-building exercise. The objective of our presentation is to be informative, interesting and fun! I am the Director of the Laboratory. The title of our presentation was "What Bugs You at EMH?" featuring the nanobugs. We covered a combination of bacteriology information, how tests are performed at EMH and hand hygiene. The nanobugs material (powerpoint and tattoos) was really helpful in meeting our objectives. "
LaMyra R., BS, MT(ASCP) - Evans Memorial Hospital
"Your rap on Hep A is cool. Your website is impressive. I'll share it with others. "
Marcia M. - Microbiologist
"The kids used the coloring book. Even though I teach 10-12 they enjoyed coloring and learning about infection control. The Hepatitis A Video was a big hit as well! Thanks for a great classroom resource. "
Elementary School Teacher
"Your presentation at the Rocky Mountain Infection Control Meeting in Salt Lake City was so fun and very informative! Microbiology can be such a difficult subject! I'm looking forward to any way that you can make it easier for all of us! I won the playing cards and LOVE them! I'll wear my "NANOBUG" tee shirt at the next nurses meeting! THANKS! "
Karen - Salt Lake City
"Just to let you know that I used the nanobug tatoos with a group of low ability\low motivation year-10 students. They proved a great incentive for answering questions and filling out the worksheet and then initiated a very productive discussion about why you had drawn them the way you had. All in all, a resounding success (apart from Patrick who kept stealing them off other students!) "

"We have been asked to participate in a local Reverse Science Fair for girls K - 7th grade. We are going to demonstrate the spread of germs and the importance of good hand hygiene. The nanobugs tattoos will certainly be a fun way to promote our objectives and reinforce the learning. "
Wendy D. - Laboratory Outreach Program Manager from Massachusetts, USA
"I am a student teacher in Lincoln, NE and find these nanobugs intriguing! I introduced them to my fifth graders and they had a ball learning about the different viruses and such. The trading cards are also information for me and my roommates. This is such a neat website and will definitely pass this along! "
Rachel L. - Student Teacher
"I am the infection control nurse for our hospital. This is the first
time that I have seen your site, but I have sent it to all my friends
who have children. IT IS THE GREATEST!!!!
Deborah - Infection Control Nurse
"I just checked out your website. Amazing, one of the cleverest I have ever seen. "
"Nanobugs flash cards are a great learning tool. The colorful characters and quotes with them make remembering the diseases easier and a lot more fun. I look forward to using them often in class! My favorite is C. Difficile - I don't think I'll forget to wash my hand again! "
Kristi J. - Junior Nursing Student
"I loved your nano bug cards! I am a junior in the nursing program at Union college. My favorite card is the E. coli 0157 nanobug. These cards would have been so helpful when I took microbiology. I always had the worst time remembering the different types of viruses and it would have helped if I had little ways to remember the importance of each and every virus. I think that cards like these would really help little kids understand how important it is to wash their hands and prevent the spread of germs. Thank you for all your hard work. These cards are amazing and I hope that more people get a chance to experience these cards! "
"I am a peds oncology RN and I love this website for it's multi-level educational approach!! Good work! "
Jane S. - Temecula, CA
"I finally found the time to check this website out. This is incredible! The oldest boy that I nanny, Jacob (age 8) found the information and cartoon characters so intriguing! I had fun showing him and his brother, Jordan (age 5) your website. Now they go around the house pointing out areas of possible living spaces for Nanobugs and they love to make sure the other is washing their hands all day. I am so excited about your website. "
Emmy C. – a nanny
"I am a teacher here in Australia. I recently used Nanobugs tattoos with my students as a discussion point to emphasize the value of washing hands and basic hygiene. It was a good way to get their attention. "
Jacob R. – a teacher
"Your website is a really fun place to share with my 4-year-old grandson when he visits. He loves to watch the nanobugs do their little monologs. His favorite nanobug is Pseudomonas aeruginosa. He can pronounce their names after listening to the announcer on the website. I was happy when you added the additional information to the menagerie. Alex was asking for more information and I didn't want to try and make things up. By the way, Alex now willingly brushes his teeth saying "let’s get rid of those nanobugs on our teeth". (Streptococcus mutans) "
Nancy S. – a grandmother
"My kids love to play with the Nanobugs playing cards. They love the Nanobugs! "
Shawn M. – a nurse and mother
